Minnesota-born Drew Jarrod recorded his first album, At Square One, in the Summer of 1997, on an 8-track, reel-to-reel machine.
"When I released my first album, Compact Discs were the new thing, and a good majority of the world said they were Christian. Now, my kids say I should just stream all my music, and a significant portion of the world doesn't know God (and doesn't seem to want to).”
Six days after following God's call to move 90 miles to join a new church body in the Winter of 1997, Drew met his wife, Erin. Drew eventually proposed in a song he wrote for her, and, after they married in 1999, Drew began to focus primarily on his new family.
