Drew Jarrod

"Knowing God - and making Him known - is what I want to be about."

Drew Jarrod is a Minnesota-born God-Follower, Husband, and Stay-At-Home Dad.  His writing, musical, and vocal styles are influenced by Rich Mullins, Wes King, James Taylor, Michael W. SmithSteven Curtis Chapman, Kenny Rogers, Andrew Peterson, and Jason Gray.  Drew joins the story-writing of an author with the musical quality of a poet.  The calming tones of his music and voice create a relaxing atmosphere.

Drew has shared the Gospel at house concerts, in schools, and on stages across the U.S. with such performers as Denny Charnecki, Pete Jacobsen, Matt Delorey, Mark Sander, Larry Erickson, Paul Schmidt, Lost And Found, Sarah Peterson, The Arnold-Bradley Band, Brittany Beck, Alex Schindler, Erin Jarrod, Gabriel Jarrod, and Jason Gray.

Touring nationally in 1994, Drew helped lead worship in numerous churches.  While attending Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota, Drew volunteered regularly at Michael W. Smith's "Rocketown" in Shoreview, Minnesota in 1995, performing live music in their "Coffee House," as well as listening and relating to the teens and parents who attended.

After receiving two AGMA awards - The Academy Of Gospel Music Arts' Spotlight 1996 Regional Finalist and Song Of 1996 Regional Finalist - Drew went on to record and tour his first solo record, At Square One, in September 1997, and performing at the LCMS "Called To Be" Youth Gathering in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.

Following God's call to relocate, Drew moved to a new town and a new parish in December 1997.  Six days later, Drew met his wife, Erin (Matthew 6:33, Psalm 37:4).  After writing several songs about this new season of his life, Drew focused more on marriage and family and less on music.

God provided a way for Drew to get back into the studio in 2009 and 2010, recording two singles: "Innocent Eyes" and “Here With Me,” as well as releasing two albums of music: The Chosen Ones and The Erin Trilogy in 2023.

Drew became the primary caregiver for his mother in 2025 - spending much of his time nurturing this relationship.

Married 27 years this July, Drew stays busy being a Dad to their three boys, investing, exercising, songwriting, blogging, podcasting, and touring - recording and releasing projects when he can.

[In addition to having a background in Television, Radio, Live Theater, and the Movies (both in the spotlight and behind the scenes), Drew is also writing a book about shame and our Father's patient love for us.]
